Jesus said, “you must be born again” (John 3:7). These are the words of Jesus Christ Himself who also said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me” (John 14:6). Paul said that God “commandeth all men every where to repent” (Acts 17:30). The truth is that Jesus died for everybody on the cross and expects everybody to turn to Him in full repentance irrespective of their religious background or irreligious background. Paul and Barnabas preached to the people of Lystra that they should “turn from these vanities [false gods] unto the living God, which made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all things that are therein.” (Acts 14:15)

Jesus is the only true Saviour sent into the world by God the Father.  He is the Son of God and He is able to save you from hell.  You must believe in Him, repent of anything that contradicts His word the Holy Scriptures, and truly start to live for Him as outlined in the New Testament.  The moment you truly repent and turn to Him is the moment you will be born again according to His word.  Find a church that preaches the uncompromising word of God (That may not be easy but God will help you). Get baptized in water and start to grow in the Christian life.  If you already are a Christian but have not been living as you should it is time to get things right with the Lord.

“He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.”

(Mark 16:16)

PRAYER:

Dear God, I come to you in the name of Jesus. Have mercy on me a sinner! Thank you for sending your son Jesus Christ to die on the cross for my sins. I believe it! Please forgive all my sins through the blood of Jesus, and I also forgive all those who have sinned against me. Forgive me also for false religion and worshipping wrong gods. I believe Jesus is the only true saviour. Now, deliver me from Satan’s power and help me to live the Christian life every day. In Jesus’ name, amen.
